Parami University is pleased to announce that, effective February 1, 2026, Dr. Dan Wessner, a full-time faculty member, has been appointed as Director of University Partnerships and Engagement.

Parami University has signed a scholarship agreement with Daughters Rising in January to offer scholarship and/or stipend awards to Parami University undergraduate students for the academic year 2026–2027.

"I have always wondered what truly determines how long a person lives. Is it solely medicine, or do factors such as economics, education, and social conditions play an even greater role?” This curiosity led her to develop the project as part of her midterm assignment for the Introduction to Machine Learning course.

“Parami University did not just give me an education—it gave me dignity, belonging, and a future,” Abdu Rahman said. “My journey proves that even after displacement and denial, education can restore hope and transform lives.”

Parami University partnered with ThitsaWorks to help undergraduate students not only build academic strength but also develop professional paths.  This strategic partnership aims to strengthen career development opportunities for Parami students across Myanmar.

Parami University and Diinsider have secured an impactful partnership this year to help students build not only strong academic foundations but also sustainable career paths. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen career development opportunities for Parami students across Myanmar.

The initiative was designed around three core objectives: to educate and empower participants through shared knowledge and practical discussions; to build local solidarity by bringing together students, neighbors, and elders; and to heal and reclaim hope through collective public action.

Negative thinking, such as 'Why should I do it?' often stops people from doing good.

Can AI truly account for and incorporate such varied contexts? Can it share in human empathy the way we do? These are questions worth asking. By pondering them, we begin to understand how, as humans, we can add real value to AI-generated ideas and concepts and elevate them beyond mere automation into something truly meaningful and inclusive.

Parami University and National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan, have formalized a new academic partnership to deepen cooperation in education, research, and cultural exchange.

Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun, President of Parami University, gave a talk as a panelist at the NYSEAN Conference on Intellectual Freedom in Southeast Asia and the United States, a hybrid event held at New York University, where he talked about authoritarianism and threats to academic freedom.

Dean of Academic Affairs at Parami University participated in the Talloires Engaged Member Roundtable discussion alongside representatives from 26 institutions across 20 countries. The discussion focused on how universities can serve as sanctuaries for displaced people—both symbolically and practically—while fulfilling their research, educational, and civic missions.
