Following a devastating earthquake, a group of students traveled to the affected area to see the aftermath firsthand. They returned with more than just data; they brought back a difficult realization. They saw a generation of young people struggling to find their footing. Between a global pandemic and local instability, the future hadn't just been delayed; it felt like it had disappeared. For many, simply planning for tomorrow had become a luxury they couldn't afford.

How do you find the right career path when your first choice no longer feels right?

"Though I have been working with HD Organization for over 14 years, the years don't matter. What is important is the content of each job, achievements, and satisfaction and joy in your work,” said Sayarma Nilar Oo.

Sitting with a friend who needs someone to listen, sharing a meal with someone who would otherwise eat alone, or offering a few words of encouragement during a difficult moment may seem ordinary. Yet for the person receiving them, these simple gestures can mean the world.

Every semester, the Dean’s List Award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance at Parami University. While their majors, interests, and career goals may differ, many of these students share a common set of disciplined study habits and a thoughtful approach to learning.

“We feel a deep moral obligation to give back,” said Myo Myint Maung Maung. “This project is not only about teaching research skills; it is about ensuring that the education we were fortunate enough to receive is used to amplify the voices of those who have been silenced by conflict.”

It is with profound sadness that the Parami University community mourns the passing of Dwight Clark, Trustee of Parami University since January 3, 2022, and a longtime supporter of the University. He passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at Channing House in Palo Alto.
