Parami University has partnered with the Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI), a U.S.-based non-profit organization that connects its undergraduate students with experienced professionals through structured mentorship programs, expanding career development opportunities for the students.

How do you find the right career path when your first choice no longer feels right?

"Though I have been working with HD Organization for over 14 years, the years don't matter. What is important is the content of each job, achievements, and satisfaction and joy in your work,” said Sayarma Nilar Oo.

Sitting with a friend who needs someone to listen, sharing a meal with someone who would otherwise eat alone, or offering a few words of encouragement during a difficult moment may seem ordinary. Yet for the person receiving them, these simple gestures can mean the world.

Every semester, the Dean’s List Award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance at Parami University. While their majors, interests, and career goals may differ, many of these students share a common set of disciplined study habits and a thoughtful approach to learning.

“We feel a deep moral obligation to give back,” said Myo Myint Maung Maung. “This project is not only about teaching research skills; it is about ensuring that the education we were fortunate enough to receive is used to amplify the voices of those who have been silenced by conflict.”

Parami University has partnered with MyanSEED to offer undergraduate students internships that offer practical, hands-on experience. The collaboration bridges academic growth and experiential learning in real-world settings.

The recent town hall meeting with parents and guardians of Parami University students focused on opportunities that support students’ continued learning and personal growth beyond academic study.
