Parami University has partnered with MyanSEED to offer undergraduate students internships that offer practical, hands-on experience. The collaboration bridges academic growth and experiential learning in real-world settings.
MYANSEED Co., Ltd. is a private consulting services company, focusing on the agriculture sector development, promoting integrated value chains, foods, and market systems, and working with various international organizations, donor organizations, CSOs, CBOs, and private-sector partners.
Through this dynamic partnership, the Parami University Career Development Center connects students with impactful internships in agricultural development and rural livelihoods through MyanSEED’s initiatives. The program supports students with practical skills and experiential learning in areas such as Agriculture, Food Science, International Development, Agribusiness Management, Resource Economics, and Agro-industry Engineering.
This collaboration opens clear pathways to internships and jobs in the agricultural sector. Students gain real-world field experience, exposure to ongoing development projects, and insight into the challenges and opportunities facing farmers and rural communities. In addition, the partnership expands access to training and workshops led by MyanSEED specialists in agricultural leadership development.
"We are truly delighted to collaborate with PU in nurturing students’ practical skills and strengthening their career readiness in the agriculture sector. Through this partnership, MyanSEED aims to bridge academic learning with real-world agricultural practices, empowering young professionals to contribute to sustainable and climate-resilient farming in Myanmar," said Thi Mar Win, managing director of MyanSEED Co., Ltd.
“If you ask me what binds the entire university community, including faculty, staff, and students, it is the relentless pursuit of our mission to contribute to collective national development directly through these engaged and empowered young leaders. This strong mission in national development, not just personal development, is in our DNA,” said Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun, president of Parami University.
Through this partnership, Parami University and MyanSEED aim to expand career pathways and provide meaningful internship opportunities for undergraduate students in the agricultural sector, while fostering professional networks with farmers, agribusiness leaders, and development practitioners engaged in agricultural innovation and rural development.
