Updated: 1 day ago

Last week, faculty (Dr. Dale Mineshima-Lowe and Dr. Will Buckingham), students (Myat Moe Kywe and Khu David Ta Keh), and staff (Phyu Thet Wai) from Parami University participated and presented their papers at the Taiwan Southeast Asian Studies conference in Taichung, on a special panel, "Liberal Arts Education Under Fire." Khu David Ta Keh was unable to present his paper at the conference, so it was delivered in his absence.

The panel focuses on Parami's work and the challenges of delivering liberal arts education in regions afflicted by conflict. They found the experience to be inspiring, filled with learning, connection, and collaboration.

Engaging with scholars and thought leaders from across Taiwan and Southeast Asia reinforced the importance of Parami’s mission and strengthened our community's voice on the global stage.
