Lori has an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and has taught writing and other communication skills to university students in Canada, China, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan. She has taught across a range of disciplinary foci, from scientific writing for graduate students in Engineering, to the architecture of argument for undergraduate students, and English conversation for blind students. Within the last decade, Lori’s niche has become WID - Writing in the Disciplines.

Zahnur Rofiah (Zee) teaches English Composition and Social Sciences Research Skills at Parami University and earned her master’s in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education, University College London. She has 20 years of experience working in the education sector in Indonesia, Myanmar, and Sudan as a teacher, an academic coordinator, and an education consultant. Currently, she is based in East Java, Indonesia focusing on teaching, managing education supports for refugee students, and assisting research in education in fragile contexts.

Karie Pieczynski is an educator with 20 years of experience working with multilingual learners and teachers, teaching and developing academic programs in Russia, Iraqi Kurdistan, Türkiye, Ecuador, Mexico, Kazakhstan, and the United States. She has taught academic skills in Foundation programs, as well as courses in Human Geography, Literature, English, Rhetoric and Composition, Science Writing, and Writing Pedagogy.

Tin Shine Aung is an interdisciplinary sustainability scholar specializing in education and governance for sustainability. He is currently completing his PhD in Sustainability Science at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, where his research explores digital sustainability literacy within a polycrisis context. He also serves as the Consulting Director at the Shwetaungthagathu Reform Initiative Centre (SRIc) and is a former Mentor and Professional Fellow of the U.S. State Department’s YSEALI Professional Fellows Program, specializing in sustainability and the environment.

Dr. Romina was a visiting scholar at the Stanford University School of Education in 2009 and holds degrees in Social Work (BA, Radboud University, the Netherlands), Philosophy of Education (MA, Radboud University, the Netherlands), Educational Sciences (PhD, received in 2013 from Leiden University, the Netherlands). More recently, she became a Writing and Thinking Fellow of the Bard Center Liberal Arts and Science Pedagogies (cohort 2023). In 2025 she obtained a MSc in Environmental Psychology and Behaviour at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands.

Dr. Anna Ezekiel is a feminist historian of philosophy whose work focuses on neglected German women philosophers from the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She received her PhD in philosophy from McGill University in 2013 and also has an LLM in international law. Earlier in her life, she studied comparative religions and fine arts.

Dr. Zaw Naing is the Managing Director of Mandalay Technology and a researcher and consultant with over 20 years of experience in development advisory. He holds a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand, where his research established National Human Resource Development (NHRD) as the primary catalyst for Myanmar’s progress.

Dr. Aye Hninn Khine is a researcher and educator specializing in natural language processing (NLP), multilingual and multimodal AI, low-resource language technologies, trustworthy AI, and AI for social good, with a particular emphasis on Southeast Asian languages.
She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Prince of Songkla University, where her research focused on natural language processing in the medical domain.

Dr. Moutu Abdou Salam Moutui is a Visiting Faculty member in Mathematics at Parami University. He obtained his Habilitation in Mathematics from the University of Haute-Alsace, France, in November 2022.

He began his academic journey at the University of El Jadida, Morocco, earning a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2009. He then pursued graduate studies at the University of Fez, where he completed both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics (Algebra) in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Najib Mahdou.

Dr. Win Khaing holds MBBS, MMedSc (Public Health) from University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar and Ph.D. in Clinical Epidemiology from Mahidol University in Thailand. After his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and as Senior Research Fellow, at the National Center for Infectious Diseases, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore.
