Zahnur Rofiah

Faculty of General Education

Zahnur Rofiah (Zee) teaches English Composition at Parami University. She has more than 15 years of experience in education in Asia and Africa with schools and organizations such as Madania school, Thabyay Foundation, and the British Council. In Indonesia and Sudan, she taught university preparation programs and professional development for government workers. In Myanmar, her work largely focused on supporting post-secondary learners through her roles as a teacher, an academic coordinator, and an education consultant.

 

She earned her master’s in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education, University College London. Additionally, she completed her CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge Assessment English in 2014 and her Project Management Certificate at Chester University in 2016.

 

Currently, she is based in East Java, Indonesia while working as a capacity-building manager for a Thai-based research and training consulting firm.
