Dr. Win Khaing

Dr. Win Khaing holds MBBS and MMedSc (Public Health) from the University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar, a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from Mahidol University, Thailand, and a Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Public Health, Yangon. After his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and as Senior Research Fellow at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore, where his research centred on dengue fever, including biomarker analysis (PIV, mPIV) and clinical outcomes. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cardiovascular Disease Research Center at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He also serves as a Co-Investigator on a National Science and Technology Council-funded project titled "Multimodal Risk-Stratified Digital Care Framework for Home-Based Management of Heart Failure" (PI: Prof. Hao-Min Cheng), developed in collaboration with Taipei Veterans General Hospital (ongoing, grant period 06/2026-05/2030). His work spans clinical epidemiology, biostatistics, and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), with active projects in infectious disease and cardiovascular disease.
