Students raise money for flood victims in Myanmar

ree

Many parts of Myanmar experienced devastating floods and landslides after Typhoon Yagi affected half a million people, including Parami students.

Undergraduate students from Parami University initiated a flood relief fundraising campaign, "Lend a Hand to Our People," to help those in need and ensure they receive the support they need. The campaign raised around 2,888,200 Myanmar Kyats, or $566, which has been directly donated to the affected communities under the name the "Yellow Circle Community."

The campaign encouraged Parami University's community members, such as students, faculty, and staff, to come together to offer a hand and hope during this time of hardship.
