In an increasingly competitive job market, one question continues to shape many fresh graduates' concerns: how can they truly prepare for the opportunities ahead?
On March 25, 2026, Parami University’s Career Development Center hosted the sixth session of its Organizational Talk Series, titled “Rhenus Myanmar Ltd: How to Prepare Yourself for Opportunities Before They Arrive.” The session was led by Ms. May Myat Noe Aung, HR & Admin Manager at Rhenus Myanmar Ltd, who brought over 9 years of experience across diverse industries, including microfinance, HR outsourcing, media, and logistics. Drawing from both her professional expertise and personal journey, she offered participants a thoughtful and practical perspective on career readiness.
The session began with an introduction to Rhenus Myanmar Ltd, a global logistics company known for managing complex supply chain processes and delivering tailored solutions across procurement, production, and distribution. Beyond its operations, the company’s internal culture stood out as a key highlight. According to Ms. May, Rhenus places strong emphasis on leadership at every level. “Our core value is leadership,” she explained. “Everyone works with a leader’s mindset and integrity, regardless of their position.” This culture is reinforced through a supportive working environment and employee well-being initiatives, including team-building activities, social events, and community contributions.
A key part of the discussion highlighted the company’s international training program, which supports fresh graduates through a six-month internship combined with skill-based training across various functions. High-performing trainees are often offered full-time roles, with some progressing to executive positions—reflecting the company’s strong commitment to employee development.
Moving beyond organizational insights, Ms. May guided participants through four essential pillars of career preparation.
She emphasized the importance of understanding one’s strengths and career direction, developing the skills required in today’s job market, building a strong personal brand, and cultivating the right mindset—particularly when facing rejection. These elements, she noted, are critical not only for securing a first job but also for sustaining long-term career development.
She also shared practical strategies from an HR perspective, offering tips for candidates to strengthen their applications and stand out during the recruitment process. Her advice provided a valuable bridge between what employers seek and how candidates can position themselves effectively.
Through the session, participants gained not only a clearer understanding of career pathways within the logistics sector but also practical tools to navigate their own professional journeys. The Career Development Center expressed its appreciation to Ms. May for her time, insights, and dedication to empowering students. Ultimately, the talk served as a timely reminder that job readiness is not merely about waiting for opportunities, but about preparing for them with intention, resilience, and a growth-oriented mindset.
