Parami University and National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan, have formalized a new academic partnership to deepen cooperation in education, research, and cultural exchange. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was virtually signed on November 4, 2025, by Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun, President of Parami University, and Prof. Chih-Peng Li, President of National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU).
This milestone highlights both institutions’ dedication to advancing education, research, and cross-cultural understanding through international collaboration. The partnership will enable joint academic and cultural initiatives, and student mobility programs, strengthening long-term cooperation and enriching students’ learning experiences. It also supports Parami University’s mission to connect Myanmar students with global opportunities for growth and innovation.
This collaboration builds on earlier success in August 2025, when 14 Parami undergraduate students participated in a two-week summer program hosted by NSYSU, engaging in academic, cultural, and experiential learning activities both on campus and across Taiwan. Building on that experience, the two universities plan to expand joint programs that promote academic innovation, intercultural dialogue, and shared learning between Myanmar and Taiwan.
