Parami University has expanded its partnership with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to support greater access to online education for refugee students. The partnership aims to improve access to quality higher education for refugee youth aged 18 to 28 and promote more inclusive, equitable learning opportunities. It will strengthen collaboration between the humanitarian and higher education sectors, enhance student support, and encourage knowledge sharing to advance education initiatives for displaced communities.

Through the collaboration, eligible refugee youth will have greater opportunities to enroll in accredited online undergraduate degree programs. The partnership will support a coordinated approach to identifying prospective students, facilitating admissions, and providing academic and logistical support throughout their studies.

The collaboration will also help create more inclusive education pathways for underserved communities by supporting long-term capacity building and expanding learning opportunities.

By bringing together expertise from the humanitarian and higher education sectors, the partnership seeks to strengthen the coordination, quality, and sustainability of education initiatives for displaced populations.
