Parami University is now a member of the Talloires Network of Engaged Universities, a coalition of 43 universities from 25 countries committed to social responsibility, community engagement, international efforts, and tackling global and local issues. Engaged members of Talloires Network include prestigious institutions like Harvard University, Bard College, the University of Cape Town, Brown University, Newcastle University, and Western Sydney University.Â
Parami University is home to over 240 students from Myanmar, Thailand, and Kenya from different geographical and ethnic backgrounds. Parami University offers two online undergraduate programs: a bachelor’s degree program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and a bachelor’s program in Statistics and Data Science (SDS).Â
Parami organizes on-ground activities such as field trips, exchange programs, and service-learning and provides international exposure through conferences and US internships to hone student leadership skills and empower civic engagement. Parami undergraduate students have traveled to countries and regions, including the US, Germany, Hungary, Colombia, Kenya, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand, to attend international conferences and exchange programs.Â
