Parami Institute of Continuing Education has introduced 10-week Professional Development Courses designed for individuals aiming to advance their careers by upgrading their skills and expertise. The first two highly sought-after courses, Research Fundamentals and Data Science Essentials, are now open for registration. These courses are suitable for beginners and professionals seeking to enhance their skills and gain hands-on experience.

"Taught by Parami University faculty, these courses offer in-depth learning and hands-on experience through mini projects, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in real-world settings," said Su Myat Moe, Director of Parami Institute of Continuing Education.

The Research Fundamentals course is ideal for anyone starting social research or looking to refine their research skills. Participants gain foundational knowledge and practical experience in qualitative and quantitative research. The curriculum covers identifying and formulating research problems, reviewing relevant literature, selecting appropriate methodologies, applying basic data analysis techniques, and producing a well-structured research report.

The course requires pre-intermediate English proficiency and basic computer literacy. It runs from October 15 to December 26, 2025, with classes on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. The fee is 200,000 MMK, and the registration deadline is October 5, 2025. Register here.

Data Science Essentials is designed for beginners or professionals transitioning into tech. This course equips participants with practical data science skills, from Python programming to building interactive dashboards. It covers handling and transforming data from various file formats (CSV, Excel, etc.), data visualization, exploratory analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning basics, and creating interactive dashboards using real-world datasets.

The course requires no prior knowledge, though basic programming skills are a plus. It runs for 10 weeks, from October 18 to December 21, 2025, with classes on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The fee is 300,000 MMK, and the registration deadline is October 10, 2025. Register here.
