Parami University's partner, Bard College, has secured preliminary approval from Bard College's institutional accreditor, Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE ), to award Parami-Bard dual bachelor degrees to Parami undergraduate students. Parami undergraduate students already receive Bard College credits on all the courses they take at Parami University. The preliminary approval officially puts Parami students on the track to graduate with dual degrees, one from Parami University and one from Bard College. Specifically, they will receive dual associate degrees after two years and dual bachelor degrees after four years.
What it means for students:
(1) Experience a high standard of academic rigor
(2) Receive the same college credits as Bard College students
(3) Graduate with a highly recognizable degree from an accredited US college
(4) Be competitive in graduate school applications at prestigious institutions worldwide
Parami University is the latest institution to join Bard's long-established dual-degree programs at Bard College Berlin, Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, and American University of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan. Through this partnership, Parami undergraduate students are on track to receive dual degrees: one from Bard College and one from Parami University. The approval from MSCHE is anticipated to be "finalized by the fall of 2023." Read more
