Can AI truly account for and incorporate such varied contexts? Can it share in human empathy the way we do? These are questions worth asking. By pondering them, we begin to understand how, as humans, we can add real value to AI-generated ideas and concepts and elevate them beyond mere automation into something truly meaningful and inclusive.

Dr. James Batcho, Professor in the Division of Social Science and Humanities, has published an essay titled Signs of Life: A Process Philosophy of Audible Semiotics.

The second workshop was led by Min Thaw, Talent Solutions & Partnership Development Specialist at Crossworks. The session, titled “Career Clarity and Design Your Life,” expanded on the self-reflection framework introduced during the first Crossworks workshop in September.

Parami University’s Career Development Center invited students, alumni, and partners to explore this very question during the fourth session of its Career Talk Series, “A Lifelong Advocate for Gender Equality.” Featuring Rani Pramesti, Executive Director at Wedu, a lifelong advocate for gender equality, who comes from a long line of Chinese Indonesian women advocates, changemakers, and entrepreneurs.

The session introduced students to academic and professional opportunities offered through Bard College’s Graduate Program in Global Studies, along with insights into student life in New York.
