The President of Parami University, Dr. Kyaw Moe Tun, and the Director of Admissions and Student Affairs, Aung Myin Thu, led the session with humility and vision, creating a space where families could share their concerns, ask questions, and better understand their children's academic journey. Parents and guardians shared concerns about academic challenges, emotional stress from studying away, and financial hardship after the March earthquake in Myanmar.

Raised in New York City, Alexandra—known affectionately by students and colleagues as Alex—was drawn to the diversity around her from a young age.
