Kyaw Hsan Hlaing

Kyaw Hsan Hlaing is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Government at Cornell University. He studies comparative politics and international relations, with a focus on revolution, movement, regime change, violence, political culture, democratic backsliding, authoritarianism, and rebel politics.
Dr. Buğra Güngör

"Dr. Buğra Güngör is a Visiting Faculty member in the Division of Social Science and Humanities at Parami University. He earned his Ph.D. in International Relations and Political Science from the Geneva Graduate Institute in Switzerland. Before joining Parami, Dr. Güngör taught at the American University of Central Asia, the American University in Bulgaria, the Geneva Graduate Institute, the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies, and Sabancı University.
Idil Brand

Idil Brand is a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations at Central European University, where she is currently in the final stage of her doctoral studies. She also holds an M.A. from Central European University. Working across critical, decolonial, and feminist approaches to world politics, her research examines political subjectivity and the making of political life through everyday and embodied practices.
