This hands-on workshop will guide you through the essential steps of designing and writing strong grant proposals that clearly communicate your idea and demonstrate impact.

Training details

This comprehensive masterclass focuses on real-world application. Participants will work on their own project concept throughout the sessions, develop a complete draft proposal and practice delivering a polished pitch, leaving fully prepared for both submission and presenting their idea to funders.

Over five interactive sessions, you will learn how to:

  • Define a clear problem statement, project logic and develop a simple Theory of Change

  • Set achievable project goals, outcomes, KPIs and activities that address the problem and align with donor expectations

  • Develop a realistic budget and implementation plan

  • Write a persuasive and evidence-based project narrative

  • Refine and package your proposal into a funder-ready submission

  • Deliver a compelling live pitch and respond effectively to funder questions

Whether you’re part of a CSO, INGO/NGO, social enterprise, youth group, research initiative or community network, this workshop will help you strengthen your ability to mobilize resources to support meaningful impact.
