Dr. Dan Wessner

Director of University Partnerships and Engagement
Dr. Dan Wessner serves as Director of University Partnerships and Engagement and is a Professor in the Division of Social Science and Humanities at Parami University. He leads initiatives to build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and organizations that expand opportunities for students, faculty, and staff while advancing the university’s global engagement. He values interdisciplinary and intercultural learning and has taught Political Science, International Relations, History, Law, and Community Development in the United States, China, and Vietnam. Having worked extensively in Vietnam since 1990, he has collaborated with educators to develop curricula that integrate sustainability, resilience, inclusivity, equity, and English language acquisition from an Asian perspective. He holds a Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of Denver, a J.D. from the University of Virginia, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in History and Humanities from Stanford University.
