Dr. Win Maw Hlaing Oo obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Washington State University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Utah and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In 2014, he was selected as a fellow in the ASEAN-US Science and Technology Fellowship Program, which aimed to empower scientists to lead the efforts of fostering science-based policymaking. At Parami, Win Maw teaches the role of science and mathematics in society.
