Dr. Will Buckingham
Full-time Faculty of Social Science and Humanities
Dr. Will Buckingham has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Staffordshire University and an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Durham. He has previously been an associate professor in writing and creativity at De Montfort University and a visiting associate professor in the College of Literature and Journalism at Sichuan University. He is a writer, and his most recent book, Hello, Stranger: Stories of Connection in a Divided World, is published by Granta Books. He is also a contributor to DK's globally-bestselling The Philosophy Book. Will works worldwide on projects relating to writing, creativity, and social change through the social enterprise and publishing house he co-directs, Wind&Bones.
