Dr. Omar Osman

Dr. Omar Osman specializes in international political economy and the political economy of development, with a focus on global socioeconomic inequality, unequal exchange, and uneven development. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Higher School of Economics - Moscow, where his dissertation examined key aspects of the structural dynamics of global inequality and imperialism. Dr. Osman holds an M.Sc. in Economics from University of Amsterdam and a B.A. in Economics from University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. His research has appeared in reputable journals such as Social Indicators Research, Journal of Central Banking Theory and Practice, and World Review of Political Economy. With both academic and professional experience in economic research, Dr. Osman continues to advance scholarship and teaching across various areas of economics.
