Anna Ezekiel

Anna Ezekiel is a feminist historian of philosophy specializing in German philosophy. She received her PhD in philosophy from McGill University in Canada in 2013. Anna also holds Masters degrees in philosophy (Canada) and international law (UK), a BA in religious studies, social philosophy and applied ethics (UK), and spent two years studying fine arts. In addition to teaching at Parami, Anna is an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of York (UK). Anna’s research focuses on philosophical contributions by historical women writers, and on questions of genre and style in philosophy. She has translated work by German women philosophers in Poetic Fragments (SUNY Press, 2016), Philosophical Fragments (OUP, forthcoming) and Women Philosophers in the Long 19th Century: The German Tradition, ed. Dalia Nassar & Kristin Gjesdal (OUP, 2021).
